FYI - this is national bike2work week. If you didn't ride today you have 4 more days to figure out a route and commute!

I rode my bike!! I didn't know it was bike 2 work week. I just said, "It is a nice day today. I'm riding my bike." Lauren replied, "And it's bike to work week." "Really!" I exclaimed. "I'll be damned." And THATS how it happened.
I would bike to work but I think my work is about 15 miles away from home. And, I'm just not that motivated. Plus, I don't have a bike so that's another problem.
I hear ya lauren - if my office was any further away (>6mi/0.5hr) or not easily bikeable I doubt I would do it either. How far of a ride would it be for you jason?
mapmyrun.com is a great website for logging distances and elevation changes for commutes - worth checking out! I just did yours jason - generally taking 33rd - 36th streets and found that it would be just over 7mi with ~200ft of grade change. Mine is 5.7mi with ~150ft of grade change.
Initially this site was intended to be a way for me to share random things of interest with friends. It has become more or less a journal for my latest hobby - homebrewing - with a few random items thrown in on occasion. The more input shared via comments - the more homebrew I'll share with commenters.

AWESOME!
I had forgotten until early this morning, but was planning on biking anyway. Hoping to commute every day this week.
